DESCRIPTION:A small group of people of colour are coming together to discuss the possibility of collectively raising funds to purchase land/property in Scotland. The land/property could be used for retreats\, well-being activities\, arts and creative pursuits\, community activism\, training/workshops\, and camping. The aim will also be to utilise the land/property as part of a community-based resilience/disaster preparedness initiative. We are interested in drawing from examples where the process is also embedded in restorative justice. \nThis is the 3rd meeting for all those interested. \nThis event will be held online \n

Focusing primarily on Community Benefit Societies (CBS)\, how they are set up\, run\, and the pros and cons. \nFor those who cannot attend in person\, the session will be recorded. \n\n      \n        \n      \n    \n
